Returning to the city for the second successive year on Saturday 15 June 2019, The Accenture World Triathlon Mixed Relay Nottingham is back with a fresh new look and exciting changes to enhance your racing experience:
The eagle-eyed amongst you may have noticed that we’ve gone purple for 2019. We wanted to give the event its own exciting, distinct identity on the ITU World Triathlon Series. We hope you like it!
What’s that? We’re extending discounted entries?
You heard correctly. Come Monday morning (4 January) prices will officially rise, so this is your last chance to snap up entries which are a little kinder on the wallet. If you haven’t already booked your spot, ensure you do ahead of midnight Sunday 3 January for savings of up to £10 per entry.
New weekend slot
The biggest change for 2019 is that the event will no longer be mid-week and will move to a Saturday slot on the calendar. We don’t want anything to get in the way of you getting your triathlon fix, so make sure to mark Saturday 15 June 2019 in your diary.
We are proud to host the 2019 Draft Legal British Sprint Distance Triathlon Championships as one of our key mass participation racing opportunities in Nottingham. With limited chance to perfect your skills in this racing style on home turf, take the opportunity to race like the elites for a sought-after Championship title. Revel at the prospect of gaining draft legal experience ahead of 2019’s World and European Championships? Now’s the time to enter.
This year also sees the introduction of TriStar races to the schedule, with the best young talent being able to compete on the ITU World Triathlon Series course and qualify for the Inter Regional Championships. More information on this exciting addition to follow.
Becky Adlington may be known for her heroics in the pool, but this year the double Olympic Swimming Champion will make her triathlon debut at the Accenture World Triathlon Mixed Relay Nottingham. To make things even more exciting, Becky (Nottingham born and bred) will be heading up her own sprint distance wave. Fancy the opportunity to take part in triathlon alongside an Olympic star, plus have time to chat with her pre-race to get those all-important swim tips? Book your spot! Places in Becky’s Wave are limited, so we encourage early entry to avoid missing out.

The Accenture World Triathlon Mixed Relay Nottingham is set to welcome triathlon stars from around the globe. As in 2018, thousands of spectators will be offered an evening of world-class action as triathlon quartets swim, bike and run over ultra-short distances in the sports newest Olympic discipline of mixed relay. You won’t want to move from your seat, we assure you.
